The Delta Scholarship Award

Delta Chapter awards $1,000 annually to a graduating senior planning to attend college,
business school, nursing school, trade school, etc.

STIPULATIONS:
- The recipient is a relative of a Delta Kappa Gamma member.
- The recipient is a graduating senior from an accredited high school.
- The graduate must be going on to further his/her education.
- Criteria for evaluation by the Scholarship Committee of the Delta Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International will be: grades, SAT scores, class placement, and information set forth in the application. (Scholarship = 70%, Activities = 30%)
- There may be an interview by the Scholarship Committee to help identify the most deserving recipient.
- All applications are due by April 15th.
- The selected recipient will be notified by mail by May 1st.
- A scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded after the selected candidate has completed one semester of college or other school, as listed above, with a grade point average of at least 2.0, and has sent the necessary transcripts to the committee chairperson.
